Filthy Rich Boys (Rich Boys Of Burberry Prep #1) by C.M. Stunich Book Review

Hello, Bookworms,

I have been falling behind with reviews and other things, but taking it slowly and mainly enjoying books rather than anything else. It is a strange feeling I might say because holy heck I have been obsessing on reading so much that I am reading them so fast that I haven't been enjoying the books as I wanted them! So I am going back and re-reading some again that I enjoyed the most! It is taking a long time to collect my thoughts as well for the books that I read because a lot of the time I don't know what to say!
Anyway, I doubt you wanna hear my incoherent thoughts about my struggles with reading so here is the review:

Synopsis:
Break the new girl.
That should be easy, right?
Trash like her doesn’t belong at Burberry Prep.
No, Marnye Reed is going down, and we plan to make a spectacle out of it.
Let’s see who can make her fall in love first.
Bet’s on. Any takers?

***

Take on the filthy rich boys.
They’re the idols of the school, veritable gods on earth.
Old Money. New money. A rising star.
These guys are nothing like the ones at my old school.
I might come from nothing, but I’m determined to be someone, and I won’t let them get in my way.
They say they’ll make my life a living hell; I think they mean to keep that promise.

Rating:
Three stars my bookworms because this book hit me in all the wrong and right places at the same time.

First of all, I have to say that people have been complaining about the main character Marnye Reed that she was weak and preferred her more strong. Well, I am sorry, not sorry but she was plenty strong in my eyes. What did she have to do? fight every chance she got? not let herself be vulnerable?

The bullying was so real and so raw that left on edge part of me wanted to put the book down because triggered my high school experience of being bullied and it made it all the more real in my head. I was conflicted.  Also as once teenager I was in the hots or "in love" for that bully and I totally understood what Marnye and what was going in her head.

What really fucked me in the head was that the way she was used on the matter of affection that really hit the nail in the coffin for me. I was devastated I tell you that, but it made it so good at the same time.  I should probably put higher rating than this but in all honesty, I don't what rating in deserves.

Another thing a lot of people dislike is that it starts with the end. I ACTUALLY LOVED IT! Hell, I was so waiting to see it will unfold that last event and it didn't disappoint. And the epilogue was burning me with anticipation till the next book! which I read already but I will put the review up in a few days.  Also, reverse harems are the bomb and why should she choose that's my burning question?

Here is the book if you wanna read it, also it's on Kindle unlimited so in case you don't want to spend the money to buy them here is a free month on me and you try her book plus others to read for that month.
