I thought this book was interesting. did it have dark themes? why yes it did! did I find the book dark itself? no. The current themes of this book were stalking(peeping tom) sort consensual, exhibitionism, medical mutilation( victims that were not main characters and not really describing how it happened) and drugging. All those together sound bad, but most of the book would say it was ok and not disturbing. It had spicy scenes and some of the plot points saw them coming.
Overall I found it a well round story that took us on a journey for both MCS and finding the HEA.
